Sometimes there is a need to seal the product from moisture inside or outside the box. It usually involves food, ready-to-eat foods, soaps or candles. The sealing can be done either with the cutter of the package itself, i.e. there is no notch anywhere for possible leakage, or with an internal or external coating of the cardboard with special materials that seal liquids.
